A Greenwich teen arrested on sexual assault charges against a minor remains behind bars after not coming up with the $200,000 bond.
According to a Greenwich Police Department arrest report, Jhonny Rosero, 19, was arrested July 13 on a warrant, after an officer recognized him on the street and knew that he was wanted for sexual assault on a victim under 16.
Following his arrest, he was charged with two counts of sexual assault to a victim under the age of 16, the risk of injury to a child and sexual assault second-degree.
According to the report, the alleged assault took place around 11:30 a.m. on Hillside Road, where Greenwich High School is located.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 15.
